Summary: Harry is bitten by a vampire but doesn’t know it or what to do. Snape is a half vampire, with the choice to become a full vampire if he chooses. He did not intend to become one, but now he must to protect Harry.
Summary: Since they now share blood, Voldemort visits Harry for tea at 4 Privet Drive and the Order Members are not able to do anything about it. Snape strangely is the only one who could enter since he doesn’t want to kill either.
Summary: Write a story where Harry has nyctophobia (fear of the dark) or strongly dislikes being in small dark places because of being in the cupboard for weeks on end at the Dursleys. Snape must discover this and try to help Harry.
Summary: Draco Malfoy overhears that Harry is hearing voices 2nd year. The ministry gets involved and seizes the opportunity to take custody of Harry in order to control and mold him to their liking. Harry is a pretty resilient kid so they end up subjecting him to some powerful (and harmful) mind magic possibly in an institution. Dumbledore and Snape are working around the clock to get Harry out/returned/back to normal after he is found to be non-responsive or withdrawn due to the ministry's treatment. Maybe throw a little Umbridge in there too to make it harder to get to Harry.
Summary: Harry is captured by Voldemort, and in an effort to keep Harry contained and not able to use magic, Harry is transformed into an animal.
Summary: I read a story where the main character was Veela but as a twist instead of mating sexually with another person they had a parental connection to their mate. Instead of wanting to sleep with the person (mate) and marry them they want to take care of them and protect them from the world or an abusive parent.
Other Details The child is need of a parental figure either because of mental, physical, or sexual abuse by one parent that the veela would then replace (abuse does not have to be graphic). *These Veela can should have the characteristics of the regular veela! The Scent, Black eyes, wings, a lot of parental possessiveness, and whatever you see in your version of Veela without the sexual/life partner aspect of the relationship. One of the main characters is now an adult when they find their selected child in one of another character's bilogical child - Adult Draco with Adult Ron/Hermione child, Severus with a young Neville Longbottom or Harry... For this site Snape and Harry should feature predominately. I want cuteness and good caring parenting even if they freak out at first
Summary: So many of our stories include Snape being Harry's biological father, adopting Harry, or otherwise somehow becoming Harry's guardian.Frequently it is because Harry is being abused, or it is discovered in the process that Harry is being abused.
I want to see a story where Snape's opinion of Harry changes some other way, and they gain a mentor/mentee relationship (or just a friendlier relationship) without first being forced to co-habitate or something.
Also, it is preferred (but not completely necessary) that Harry's treatment at the Dursleys is no worse than it is in the books, and there is no shocking revelation about this. I love those stories, but I want to see something different.
Summary: What if being the "Very Best School of Magic" as Hermione once described it meant that Hogwarts was actually a really good school? (Living professors, professors who act professional and fair, etc.)
