Thank you. As a keen Gardner I love Severus’s garden and am completely intrigued as to how he leaves his garden for months at a time and comes back to find it still growing well! If I left mine it would be dead/overgrown by weeds or run riot. I suspect magic but that would confuse the neighbours.
Author's Response: Thanks! Gardening is King! You have a good point though :) Maybe I should explain that in a later chapter. I just assumed Severus would use magic to keep his garden in a kind of stasis during his absence and that the neighbours wouldn't really care because he keeps to himself so much. But Ben actually noticed something in Chapter Four ;)

This was a nice chapter. It was a nice touch adding the herbs that Severus is growing. Thanks for updating! Im looking forward to Ben and Harry meeting.

Thank you. I hate seeing a book defaced, I will not lend one to anyone who turns down the pages to mark their place, a dreadful habit. The hobbit sentence sounds like the riddle game Bilbo played with Gollum but it’s years since I read the book.
Author's Response: Thanks for your review! I hate that habit too! Seriously, why? Just use a bookmark or remember the page. You're right about the riddle game. And the answer to the riddle Harry reads in the chapter is "darkness" so I thought it might fit his situation there :)

Author's Response: I thought it impossible for Snape and Harry to ever have a chance at a good relationship with Snape's background in canon. So I made a few *cough* changes :D
