Severus Snape has a machine gun. Ho. Ho. Ho. I'm so glad that a rescue is here. These poor kids need to get out. It turns out Erebus may not be the most disgusting person there- which is insane. I hope Erich isn't dead. I enjoyed how the girl in the painting was used. Clever.
Meeksi is quickly approaching the end of her rope with the prisoners. They don't understand anything about house elves or magic. Meeksi has great names for everyone Harry's thoughts on Ms Tibbons are hilarious and adorable I'm glad Nicky is okay I hope Erebus and his henchmen get killed somehow
That wand wanted to be used. A lot. I hope Meeksi gets her elflings out with the kids. I don't know that she can go but hopefully she'll at least be able to save her kids. Poor Erich. Ms Tibbons isn't really trying to assume control but her intervention is helpful. The kids would resist her trying to be their leader at this point anyway.
Since the story is well past chapter 68 I feel comfortable getting caught up now. It's easier to read suspenseful chapters all together without having to wait for updates in between! I've long maintained that Harry would benefit from therapy. This is now a million percent more true. Everything there is so awful! Erich in particular is very sad. I can't fault him for his bitterness and hatred. It's wild that telling people about magic isn't the biggest story in Harry's day, but things are insane. I hope Nicky gets back to Cumbria and connects with Severus!
