I feel like that move in Candyland were you get the one sugar, snow princess chick and you're suddenly like three turns from winning.
I'm waiting for the purple gumdrop dude to turn up; the other shoe to drop. For a 30 chapter ficb this is happening way too fast.
Like in Jane Eyre, you're reading along and they get engaged and you're like, "Crap, there's 300 more pages, shit does not work out." That's the vibe I'm contending with.
I have (as you can undoubtedly tell) been reading this story for a bit, mostly while at work - thus, the lack of reviews. Anyhow, just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I'm really enjoying it, so far. Very nicely written, indeed.
