Awwww, this was sweet. I'm glad that Snape picked up on how abandoned Harry is. Maybe he'll try to keep him. now I want to doze by a fire and drink hot chocolate.

This was as delicious as a cup of hot chocolate with fuzzy socks and a blanket by the fire!
Author's Response: So glad it hit the spot! I had so much fun playing with the prompts for this story and really enjoyed the creepy writing and then the comfort writing. It was so much fun!
Dudley's second bag of candy... That's unique, but it absolutely fits with Petunia in canon! And oooh, I REALLY enjoyed the description of the spooky interior of the forbidden house -- I was practically holding my breath as Harry explored! Wonderfully done! Definitely a cozy Halloween story! (I want some fuzzy socks!)
