    Amazing chapter! It was poignant, angsty, moving - everything one could ask for. I can’t believe you wrote those amazing five chapters in one sitting! What brilliance.

    I love it when I do something as amazing as writing and entire like 5 chapters of a story in one sitting...and then I go and can't even get out three paragraphs bc writers block is a bitch.

    I'm not sure how much research you did into ulcers, but the "ulcers are caused by stress" theory is an old one. I'm not sure they know 100% what causes ulcers, but bacteria is part of it. Of course stress, over use of pain killers, and heavy alcohol use can contribute, but I doubt just stress can do so on it's own, or we'd all be walking around with them.

    Look up stress-induced gastritis and navigate to the medscape page about it.  I initially had the idea for this story because I know someone who had a stress induced ulcer.  Web MD is not always right.

    I find it difficult to believe that Snape - and Harry, too - would believe this just because Petunia said so. I don't mean any disrespect, I'm just saying what I think. *sheepish* I think that's what makes this chapter feel out of character. But anyways, now he knows, and this story is really getting better and better with each chapter! ^^

    Author's Response: That's a good observation and something I hadn't thought about, though I can't see any reason Petunia would have to lie about it.

    HO MY GOD! THIS STORY IS SPLENDID ...I CRYED WHILE I WAS READING THIS CAPTER WHEN HARRY LET SNAPE INTO HIS MIND.... IT'S SAD THAT HARRY HAS GONE THROUGH THIS BUT IT'S AWFULLY BEAUTIFUL HOW SNAPE CHANGED AFTER THE REVELATION!
