I love your portrayal of Severus, he's completely in character, both in emotions and thought-processes, something one rarely sees in fanfic. His interaction with Dumbledore is masterfully depicted. Great job!
Great intro: I absolutely loved your use of Lockheart's penchant for memory charms- so clever and original!

A perfect end! I really enoyed reading this fic because the progression in the relationships was not rushed and only subtly noticeable.
Bravo! I love it. A very well-done piece.

I genuinely love this story. It is one of the very few stories in the fanfiction world that is spot-on plausible. Snape is a bastard you have changed or exaggerated aspects of his personality. He is still a bastard at the end of it, harsh, cold, and uncompromising. Harry doesn't go around throwing to the whole of Hogwarts comments about the Dursleys. There's no mention of abuse and he isn't sickeningly fragile. He understands that Snape's a git, he doesn't become emotional around him or forget what Snape is. I love how the story unfolds while staying true to the characters. Thank you for a truly wonderful read and for not writing a sequel. This seems like the perfect place to end it. A perfectly subtle note.

I have spent every waking hour for the last three days reading this story! I usually go for the more affectionate relationship between Harry and Snape, but I found your characterizations and versions of how such things would play out still made perfect sense. It kept me reading at ungodly hours, just to see what on earth would happen next. Wonderful story, I loved it! I'm only saddened that there's not more to come. -Julz
That was great. I read this story a long time ago , and it's a classic.
What I love about this story is that you've kept Snape in character. I hate when Snape is too mushy too fast.
yay! the only thing missing was a hug awesome story
