    That was very sad and touching. The way that Severus thought about Harry and his need to have such a high pain threshold at eleven years of age is terrible.

    I did enjoy the story though. :)

    Hey!
    Wonderful, sad story. Snape's development was believable and his thoughts (at least at the beginning) harsh enough to be completely in character. The same goes for Harry's mortification at having to show his arms and later on when forced to talk about his relatives, who surly have made clear that he is not to say a bad word about them.
    Snape's headache was a nice addition.
