Oooo, I was laughing just at the name of this one! And such a great ending! Please update, this has SO much potentail! And the huge grin it plastered on my face at the end....yup, you are not allowed to not update. If you don't, I will come after you. ;)
Constructive Critizism: Length could be longer. I'm hoping you're going to go a little deeper in the subject matter here - as of the moment, it seems a bit too platonic and floaty. If that makes sense. Good sense of speed, not to slow, not too fast. I'm wondering how far you actually are going to take this though. Mentorship? Getting into the ansty emotional issues of Harry's inner self at all? And I can't wait to see who is paired with whom. I'm thinking Hermione for McGonagall, Parvati's twin sister maybe for Flitwick? There's not a ton of students mentioned outside of Griffyndor house and Slytherin 7th year, and there's quite a few teachers, actually, not to mention the rest of the faculty. Or are faculty going to be able to be sponsors too? Now THAT could be extremely interesting!

Author's Response: LOL -- don't worry, I don't plan on stopping here. It's a gift-fic -- I can't abandon it or Jan will track me down and murder me in my sleep. o_O Chapter 2 is nearly finished, actually. :)
Great start, great idea for a story. One question, though. What the heck did Harry just get himself into? Can't wait to see the reactions of everyone when they find out that Snape is sponsoring Harry.
