I throughly enjoyed that chapter...especially the scene in the carriage on the way back to Hogwarts. :)

Wow, that was a pretty good chapter. I love to hear people's insights into why Snape is as he is. I loved your scene in his quarters.
This story is extremely original, and I love it! I was not expecting Snape to be sitting in his room with a bottle of whiskey by the end of this chapter. I sympathize with him loads in this story, and I like how you've given him some depth as a character. Can't wait for more!

I think you have really nailed the crux of Snape's character right there...nicely done!

I'm quite worried about Severus...and I rather wish Harry had told someone what he saw.
Interesting chaqpter! Will Snape tell Harry eventually the reason why he joined Voldemort? Keep up the great writing!
Very interesting chapter. I like the idea that he is learning to function despite the pain.
