Hey! Your Snape is a lot more evil (IC?) than most of us would like him to be. Nevertheless, his reactions are logical and although I hate him to leave Harry alone as every other adult did up to now, it makes sense. Yes, he should stand up for Harry and rescue him, but if even Molly Weasley, who loves Harry like a son, simply accepts that he is barely fed and held prison in his room with bars in front of his window, why should Snape, who hates Harry in his own way, care? Since most stories go the other way with Snape suddenly starting to care (if only minuscule), it was interesting and something new to read this.
