Reviews For Walk the Shadows
Aah Ron, he is an interesting character. It's nice here that his motives are very clearly aimed at protecting Harry, and he obviously still sees Severus as a threat. I can't wait to see Hermione's response; a dropped tea cup eh... Haha made me think of earlier chapters where Harry was quite interested in hurling tea cups at the walls and Severus asking him to first drink his tea if he must react that way. So I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Good luck with it!
How about playing on the 'light'vs'shadow theme in your next title. Of course I don't know what sort of things happen in it, but maybe something like'On the edge of Light' or 'Face the Light'? Titles aren't really my thing either, though, I admit! Which is why one of my stories is called 'Essential Qualities in a Sperm Donor'. I figured that at the very least, it would be unique! *g*
Loved Harry's dialog in his journal. And how poorly Snape's conversation is going with Hermione and Ron. Poor Snape! Can't wait to read the next chapter!
Author's Response: Hi Dragonclaw, No, I updated it on Sunday evening, but the site had a glitch, and I wasn't even sure it posted, and I wasn't able to log on at all yesterday to check. Haven't had time today before now. I'll try and get the update date changed, as notices won't go out for those who have the story listed as a favorite otherwise. And thanks for the review!
Severus really is a wonderful guardian--Harry needs somebody who's overprotective. To be honest, I think in Harry's case, there's no such thing as being overprotective. I mean, Voldemort has Harry in his sights, and Harry is in great danger because of that. I have no doubts that Harry will be the victor in their ultimate confrontation, though. It's just wondeful to see how far Harry and Severus have come, both in recovering from the horrific traumatic events earlier, and in their relationship with one another. And Severus admitted to himself that he 'liked' Harry. Guess he's not quite ready to call it 'love', but we know better. I'm sad to think of this story ending, but I can't wait for the sequel.
i've only just found this and read it through today. its a really brilliant story. Can't wait to see how it develops.
