That's a very realistic flow of thought going through Harry's head you've got going on. Why hasn't anyone pegged Harry as responsible for Dudley? Or is that why Petunia is taking him home?

Good story. Can't wait to read more. Harry's suddenly fairly cheeky and a bit forward. The cheeky part I can see...the forwardness...is that how he manifests his desire for attention? Perhaps he's just so naive that it wouldn't occur to him not to speak. He certainly seems like a cute little Slytherin Harry.
Cute chapter. Harry is so unknowingly adorable and sweet in this chapter with all his big ideas about being a film star and being "well fit". Very cute.
Will we be seeing more of Jo, or was she just a passing character? And exactly what happened to Dudley? Just a bit curious about all of this. Anyway, thanks for the update.
Author's Response: Harry's accidental magic happened to Dudley. And thanks very much.

Did you post this on fanfiction.net? Jo is sounding really familiar. I think I read it there. I think you've gotten Harry's characterization down fairly well. He probably wouldn't be meek like so many authors make him out to be.
Author's Response: Yeah, it's on ff.net.

Doesn't peche mean sin? The french word for pear is poire....or did you mean for Harry to say it wrong?
Author's Response: Yeah, he's supposed to have got it wrong. A little girl (the real-life daughter of Jo) told me that, and it seemed to fit. ;)
Oh man, I don't like reading stories that are in first person. ^^;; And it sucks that Snape isn't going to show up until the sixth chapter. )):
Update soon?
I really, really liked this. It's a great narrative, and I think you capture Harry's thoughts excellently. I hope you keep writing, you're very talented.

Great story. I thought I'd be impatient waiting for Snape's interactions with Harry, but you're taking your time and really setting the stage with Harry. He's pretty stoic, has an active fantasy life and is just skirting the edge of bewildered bitterness. I hope you give us more soon. P.S. I'd log-in if I could, but my laptop doesn't seem to like Potions and Snitches and my attempts to register have never been successful for this site. jwkljackson@comcast.net
