    I like this story a lot... one quick thing I noticed is that you refer to Hedwig as a male in the beginning of this chapter. In the books and movies, Hedwig is a female.

    Again indeed.  And what is that... magical construct, and more importantly, who created it? I would understand if it was Voldemort, but this creature seems to have too much originality about it to be old Snake face's creature.  Besides that, Voldie is not resurrected yet, as you have explicitly stated that this story is set just after the Chamber of Secerets.  Please continue, and let us know what is going on!

    Don't really know if when you posted you would update tomorrow-what day tomorrow actually is.  Hope we are functioning on central standard my time-which would actually make this update 9/29/06  I am hoping because you really are an excellent writer.  I have actaully enjoyed the ride immensely so far.  I really can't  wait for more. I have read your other reviews-really hoping you were merely working hard to get your best  ideas down for this story.  Here's hoping that you have not died of a brain tumor, and the story will be resurrected tomorrow truly.  Thanks

    I LOVR THE STORY SO FAR. I KEEP CHECKING BACK HOPING FOR AN  UPDATE,BUT NO DICE.  PLEASE DON'T LEAVE A NOTE THAT THE NEX TUPDATE IS COMING SOON IF YOU DON'T MEAN IT. NOBODY LIKES A TEASE--ESPECIALLY IF THEY DON'T FOLLOW THOUGH!

    *snicker* Snape irritated at the Dursley's and going to talk to Dumbledore? This I like!

    I also liked the part where Snape storms into the Great Hall: "If it had been any other student he wouldn't have been so furio.. .---wait-- no, he'd still be furious, but if it had been anyone but Potter he probably wouldn't have kicked over every table and vase that had been unfortunate enough to lie in his path." Very nice!
