Reviews For Never Again!
Author's Response: Got that right, he's a typical kid!
That is a punishment I used one time. Kris had done something wrong and I had grounded him. He decided that he wasn't going to be grounded and there was nothing I could do about it. I told him that my son was obedient and therefore, if Kris did not except his punishment, he was obviously just a visitor - he would be treated with politeness and nothing else. After two days of extreme courtesy and no good nights or anything, Kris came to me and asked how long his "groundation" was to be. I never had to use it again. Author's Response: Yeah, that sounds like something my nephew did once. Kids hate being ignored, that's one thing I learned when I used to watch my nephews. The silent treatment works! LOL!
-Elise Author's Response: yes he is, even when he's bad! :) Makes it hard for his dad to punish him sometimes. And the reunion is coming!
Author's Response: Thanks very much and I might just do that, if I can come up with a different plotline.
Author's Response: Yes, he does and I actually got the idea for that punishment from something the Amish in PA do to discipline their children or erring members of their community. They call it shunning and it works much like the punishment Severus gave only for much longer and it is only given out in extreme cases.
Author's Response: Great and I think you'll like it. You'll get to find out about Matthew's past too!
I think it'll be interesting to see if Severus allows his temper to get the better of him, and in doing that will discover he's retained some of his father's bad habits. Perhaps a couple days in his room without any toys will teach him a lesson as well. Boredom can be a pretty effective punishment.. lol. Author's Response: Yup, is that ever true! And you have to take all the fun things out of the room BEFORE you send the kid to it, otherwise they'll play and it won't be a real punishment. My sister learned that the hard way when she used to send her son to his room when he was bad and he'd look at her and say ,"Okay, Mommy." and wouldn't act like he was upset. Then she found out he was playing and having a good old time in his room for hours instead of thinking about why he was being punished!
no park for mr harry today and methinks a spanking is a coming and lord knows whatever else sev wants to do to teach the boy to control his impulses and what real boredom is like sigh kids I say KIDS Author's Response: Yes, kids can and do drive you up the wall some days. My mother used to say about us--somedays you want to hug your kid to pieces and other days you want to throttle them, depending on what they've done. And some days you want to run away and commit yourself to the nearest asylum! LoL!
Author's Response: I know exactly what you mean!
Author's Response: God help them, you're absolutely right! |
