Great start to the story! I really like the atypical characterization of Tobias and his (and Severus’s) backstory.
Thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning to end! Loved your take on an AU fic, and with so many deviations from canon, I had to admit I was wary at first, but then I got caught up in the story, and WOW! You are SNAPEGIRL!!! I think my favorite aspect by far was Snape's patience in helping Harry overcome his fears and uncertainties, one by one. You didn't rush or gloss over anything, and you let us see Harry emerge into the person he should've been all along, by the time he had to testify in front of the Wizengemut. Well done! 😊
