This is perhaps my favorite Shape adopts Harry story. Not only are the characters a wonderful read, but I LOVE that the basilisk survives.

The story was awesome!!! Is there a sequel ?
This chapter seemed really rushed. It didn't have much description in it, only dialogue. It'd be a lot nicer if there was maybe a bit more description of thier surroundings and such.

I really wish I had Snape's vocabulary. Just reading it makes me feel smarter. :)
I love how you've portrayed Snape. He's all the snary, sarcastic potions master I enjoy without being too mushy, like many writers tend to portray him. Your version of Snape is just the right mix. :D
Snape mentioned Dobby near the end of the chapter. Does he not belong to the Malfoys in this story?
Ron sure tends to jump to conclusions. I guess most kids do have active imaginations though. :)
