Reviews For Harry and His New Family
Lovely chapter! Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it! Thank you very much for your review!
Author's Response: That in two chapter after the next, Draco won't be part. ;)
Author's Response: As a social worker in a children shelter I have to do a lot of homework with the kids. So I have to be creative and read a lot of books how to help them. :) I'm glad you liked the chapter! Thank you very much for your review!
That was so cute too when Harry called SEverus "Dad." Great job. I'm curious to see what happens next. Author's Response: There wil be more about this Calling-Severus- Dad-thing. Thank you very much for your review!
I liked that James helped Harry calm down. I didn't really get that Harry fell asleep right away so it seemed strange that Ivy, Severus, and James were talking about him so much in front of him. Great chapter. I liked how Harry now has "Toys" distracting him, and i wonder how Severus and Ivy will help him cope with all these new changes in his life. I suppose that the memory potion is off now, right? Thanks for the update! Author's Response: Yes, we all knew it except of Harry. The memory potion out of the way? Do you really think Harry will give this up so easy? You are like Severus and Ivy; too in good faith. Only two more chapters and you will see how stupid Harry can be. Thank you very much for your review!
Author's Response: Oh, but Harry is already brewing it and I fear he won't give up. Only two more chapter and you will see how stupid Harry can be. Thank you very much for your review!
Author's Response: Thank you very much for your review!
Author's Response: Even wizards are just human and make mistakes. :)
However, I must confess that I find this immature, almost psychotic version of Harry unbelievable. Where is his Gryffindor courage? I don't think he would deliberately deceive his parents again. It's totally out of character with the Harry we know always wanting to please those he loves. Author's Response: The Harry in my version has ben abused much more than the canon Harry. That changes people and that's the reason why the Harry in my story behaves like he does. I always use the kids at my work as a reference for his behavior. They are abused, neglected.... Harry is still unsure about his place in the family. He really wants to make everything right and that they are proud of him but has problems to do it. The potion is an easy way out. The other problem is that Harry feels powerless against the adults that want to rule his life. All the other years he managed almost everything alone and now he has to accept that other people decide what's best. Harry doesn't feel comfortable enough to express his feelings open to Ivy andSeverus and so he tries to achieve his goal behind their backs. That's way he still wants to brew the potion. I hope I could explain to you my reasons why Harry behaves like he does. Thank you very much for your review!
Great chapter! Author's Response: Ivy and Severus are still learning how to raise a teenager. It's new for them as well. Give them some time. Thank you very much for your review! |
