Ya know, all of this could've been avoided if Albus hadn't insisted that Harry go to the Dursleys. If he had gone the Weasleys none of this would've happened.
I'm just waiting for someone (a Weasley perhaps) to say "This is your fault, Headmaster"

The first chapter seems to have been repeated so that the text appears twice as long.
An excellent start. I'll be waiting to see what else you can come up with.

Hello! this is a very promising first chapter, and I like it (even if it is not very original: several fics begin with Harry alone at the train station). There is just one problem: you typed the chapter twice!
Your story repeated several paragraphs, you might want to check it. Otherwise a good start.
