Reviews For Two Hawks Hunting
Author's Response: Yes, but Sev is raised in an old school and so he doesn't want anyone to see him crying. Or admit that he is. It's a guy thing. Glad you enjoyed the riual!
Author's Response: No, this one was not the ahhh! variety. But next chapter will be every emtional.
Author's Response: Great! I'm sure it would work. Harry really needed Sev's forgiveness and he came through for him.
I kind of wish I knew how to do this myself! Author's Response: Thanks! If you're interested, you can Google it using the words cleansing ceremony. That should get you started.
On to story again, these lines I really liked! [[[ "Something we both need." Severus answered enigmatically. "Strip down to your boxers." Harry gaped. "What?" Severus tugged off his cloak and shirt. "Do as I say. Or do you need my assistance?" "Hell, no!" he muttered, cheeks flaming. He began to undress. "Be grateful I am not asking you to do the ritual skyclad." Severus said, concealing a smirk. "Skyclad?" "Stark naked," clarified the Potions Master, removing his boots and socks. ]]] LOL Wonder what was running through Harry's head =) [[ "Are you sure nobody can see us? Because I don't want to be arrested for indecent exposure." ]] XD bet many fan girls wish they were there! Author's Response: Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss! I can sympathize with you and know what you mean about not feeling like they're gone. When my one cousin passed away we were all in shock it happened so quickly. And it sometimes seemed as if all we had to do was pick up the phone and she would answer. Poor Harry! He was soo embarrassed there! Severus wa sprobably chuckling inside. Yes, hell I wish I was there! Don't you? Oh but I am bad!
Im so glad that Harry was able to let go of his guilt and that he also thought to cleanse Severus in the ritual as well, the hugs at the end just made me feel even more happy for the both of them :) Author's Response: Good because that's how I wanted you and them to feel, like they were starting over and could be happy again. That ritual is real, though not performed exactly as I've described here. I have been through it and it really helps you if you are depressed or grieving. Harry would naturally think about Sev as needing to be cleansed too, since he was also tainted by the dagger. More to come soon!
Thanks. Author's Response: You're welcome. Glad you're enjoying it!
What a beautiful ceremony as well. I'm so glad that it's help you cope Snapegirl, and I'm truyly sorry for the grief that you've experienced lately. I hope that writing has given you the strength to get through it. I know that it has been painful for you, but I am sure that it is because of your recent experiences that these past few chapters have been so powerful and full of emotion, because your own emotions are coming through. Again, I wish the best for you and your family, and my God give you the strength to contnue handling it as well as you have. Author's Response: I couldn't not have Severus forgive him, not after all they have been and done to each other, it just wouldn't seem right. Also, Sev would be a kind of hypocrite if he didn't forgive Harry for making ahuge mistake when he did that too when he was that age. And I don't see Snape as being a hypocrite. Harry really needed Severus to be understanding here and not blame him becuase he was alreayd putting so much blame on himself that it was making him sick. That ceremony, which is a bit different than I portrayed it in here, you don't have to go swimming, for one thing, really does help you put your life back in perspective and ease yourself out of the grieving process and into one of healing. If you're interested in the cleansing ceremony, you can Google it and see what you need to do to perform one. You can do it alone, or with another person, like Harry and Sev did. Yes, i would definitely say you're right about these last few chapters. I am glad to use my grief for something positive and constructive, because I know that my cousins and friends who have passed away would want me to do so. My one cousin used to say, "Cry today, but laugh tomorrow" and it means basically that you shouldn't grieve forever and that you should learn to move on afterwards. Thank you so much, Pandora! :)
I liked this chapter. It certainly shows that Severus and Harry have a VERY strong relationship, and almost dying couldn't tear them apart. Author's Response: Thank you. It's always hard to lose someone you were close to. I try and remember good things about them and remember that they are now in a better place. Yes, they do and it's a good thing! They're going to need it!
Author's Response: Yes, Harry's delayed long enough. And he really is scared that Sev will tell him to take a hike. But you'll see what happens next chapter, which I've posted. |
