Reviews For Two Hawks Hunting
Author's Response: Yes I couldn't let her die. I'm an animal lover. Glad you liked it and here's more for you!
Author's Response: Me, kill off an innocent owl??? Never! Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy the next part!
The suspense waiting for Hedwig got to me though, I got so anxious, thinking 'noo Hedwig was healed last time she can't die!!' glad to see she's with family again :) Author's Response: She sure is and now you can find out what happens next! Hope you like!
The story is wonderful so far. I loved Harry's punishment, but do not like that Severus is putting off treatment for Harry's Clausterphobia until after Voldy is taken care of. If he truely cared about his ward, then his ward's well being would ALWAYS come first. That doesn't seem to be the case here. Also, at first you have it that Severus has to be in Hawk form to understand Hedwig, then half way through the chapter you switched over to him understand her like Harry can while being human too. Just a slight plot hole. :D Author's Response: You have to add it to your favorite stories list, then you should get the alerts. At least that's what another reviewer told me. Add to Favorites and you'll get updates everytime I post a new chapter. Severus really has no choice at this point. Finding the Horcruxes is a race against time and the DE who are trying to resurrect the scumbag, though I haven't shown it yet, chapter nine will reveal just what the bad guys have been doing while Sev and Harry are searching and they will find out that Sev betrayed them and hunt them down and plot to gather again and do the ritual to bring Voldy back--again--from the dead. Severus cares very much for Harry, but the plain truth is that this is a covert war and Harry needs weeks with a therapist and they just don't have time to do that and THEN find the Horcruxes. Each time Voldy is resurrected, he comes back stronger than before and harder to kill, and that is not something they want to happen. Harry knows that and he can handle the claustrophobia, since it is not acute, and Sev will do his best to make sure no one puts his ward in a small space or a locked room. A lot of things have to be put on hold, including some of Severus's own problems, he needs a good therapist too, he has a lot of pent up guilt and turmoil from his days as a spy and watching all those awful things the DE did, but it all has to wait till the Horcruxes are gotten rid of. Plus working with handicaps makes the characters more human, since they have to overcome trouble from without and within. Sev actually can't truly understand her, but he gets the gist of what she means, sorry if that were unclear. I know I talk to my animals as if I understand them sometimes and I don't, that was what Severus was doing. Eventually, the longer he spends in hawk form, he will gain the ability to understand bird speech. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Thank you! I think I almosy scared myself there! I really love romance so I enjoy all those little scenes with the young lovers. And maybe one day they can be together.
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm always happy when a reader says they can feel what I wrote, it means I have written the scene properly. I should have another chapter up shortly.
The maldecorvae reminded me of the Birds by Hitchcock. Really scary! Hope they get away from the werewolves. Author's Response: Yes that's what I was thinking too! Thanks for reading!
The parting gifts Harry and Sasha exchanged were beautiful and so was their bittersweet parting. The maldecorvae scared the spit out of me! But Hedwig and Warrior were awesome! What a movie this would make! Update soon! Author's Response: Oh now that's interesting. Never thought of that before but you're right. A movie? Well maybe if I had the rights to the characters. It would be kind of cool seeing the way someone put all of this together on screen. Yes they scared me too. I should have the answer to that question soon, so stay tuned!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! A new chappie will be up very soon!
Though how did the werewolves realize that Snape and Harry were hawks? You didn't mention in any of the earlier chapters that Lucius found that out. Or did I miss it? I guess I will just read it again :) Good luck for the next chapter and for the return to prince manor. Author's Response: Well, they already knew Harry was a hawk, as that was common knowledge about school and Draco would have told his parents, plus it was in the paper. And I think that greyback is clever enough to figure out that if Harry is seen with another hawk it was probably Severus. Thanks and I have posted a new chapter of PM and I'll be posting a new one of this one shortly. |
