Reviews For Two Hawks Hunting
Author's Response: Thanks very much! For both your condolences and your kind words, i really need them right now!
Sorry for your loss :-( Mila Author's Response: Thanks, I wanted to let everyone see how Sirius was doing and thanks for your sympathy.
sirius and remus are having lots of fun messing about in the park Author's Response: Thanks so much! I was hoping you'd like them, and harry will make a great dad, I think. You'll see more of Hedwig next chapter too! Yes, they are and I have just updated by the way!
I am enjoying this story thoroughly. The dialogue is particularly well written. Author's Response: Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that and am very glad you're doing better, Donna! Looks like the both of us have been going through a rough time, you being sick and me with my death in the family. It never rains but it pours. So glad you're liking this! It makes me feel better!
This is a nice, fluffy chapter with only very minor conflict-- it's nice to have some normal moments to balance the story. I'm curious about where this will lead-- the two main characters are off questing (which tends to isolate them). It's nice to see Remus and Siri, I'm wondering who else will show up? I'd like a subplot or two. Too much of minor-characters-wondering-about-major- characters is problematic. On one hand, it's good to show people thinking about and caring about each other. On the other hand, it sort of pokes the reader in the eye with the idea that the plot is off somewhere else while the narrative is on a tangent. Author's Response: Yes, this story needs those small moments and there will be more of a subplot later to balance out the quest that Sev and Harry are on. I thought it would only be natural for Sirius to wonder how harry was getting along with Severus, considering he really doesn't trust Severus fully yet. You'll see more of Crabbe and Marietta and Jace later on there will be a whole other part to this going on in a few chapters, it just wasn't time yet for me to bring them in.
I really loved that chapter. I think that you really caught Sirius' personality and you made me laugh with his "Snuffles" antics. Too cute. I loved the way that Sirius flipped the frisbee into the air with his nose. I want a dog now. Hee hee. I'm so glad that Remus and Tonks seem to be an item. Hope you feel better Snapegirl, and I am looking forward to the next chappie. Author's Response: Thanks, Pandora. She went peacefully in her sleep, so I think that was good, but we shall miss her nevertheless. Oh good, I wasn;t sure if I did him right, but I loved writing the bit in the park. I had a dog that could do that a long time ago, he was a shepherd and too smart. Yes, Remus and Tonks will be together in this one. Thanks and my next chapter is here!
Author's Response: They will, later on in the story, much later on. Thanks for your kind wishes and reviews! The next part has been posted!
I like how you did Sirius in dog form in this chapter - he's Sirius, but he's also sort of a dog! Author's Response: Thanks, it was very sudden, we had dinner with her on Friday night and by Wed she was gone. We were shocked. But it happened quickly and peacefully, in her sleep, so I guess that was a good thing. But I will miss her, she was always very excited to read my work. Yeah, I figured that Sirius should still maintain his personality while also having a dog's instincts.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! We will all miss her, she was a sweet lady! And thanks for reading!
(I'll take a walk. In the RAIN?! I know a water repelling charm.) lol ah Sirius what trouble has he stirred up that Remus must rescue him from? I can only wonder. =) Author's Response: I just love Hedwig! Yeah, Severus and his quick wit, LOL! Oh, you'll see all right! |
