    Another great chapter. I love the growing relationship between Snape,Harry and Tom. They are becoming a family while not leaving out their friends or Harry's family. I love overprotected Snape. He takes care of what's his, so I am eagerly awaiting his response to MacNair's attempted kidnapping. Thanks again.

    I think, even with as much trouble as he is likely to cause, I must feel sorry for poor Neville. He Still has a rotten hand to deal with and he is setting himself up to "not" be a friend of "the-boy-who-lived" and especially not Harry.

    Author's Response: Yes, Neville is making the assumption that Harry, since he appears happy now, has always been happy. WIth all the rotten things he's dealing with, he needs someone to hate.

    good story, but why does Neville have to be sooo hateful. It is bad enough Ron is nasty, but him too.... why but why

    Author's Response: Because in canon, I never understood how Neville grew up without any resentment regarding his treatment (or Harry, for that matter).

    Tom has gone a long way - to protect Harry with his body as a shield. ••• Albus intimidated by Severus? Great! I hate how fearless and supercollected he is in majority of fics. Mila

    Author's Response: I doubt he actually feared that he could be killed by Severus - he does have the Elder Wand, however he likely realized that Severus could inflict a great deal of damage, if he wished. And Tom has indeed grown a great deal, with the right mentors.
