Very glad Hermione and Ron are going to remain friends with Harry and that Severus will get to keep his friends as well. It'll be different, but hopefully they will all be able to adjust to the changes.

I despise people who use kids to further their own selfish ends. Whether well intentioned or not the one who ends up hurt, mentally and/or physically are the kids. Yay for Alastor holding his ground even when he wanted to go to his wife so badly. Poor Severus sobbing his little heart out. Brings tears to my own eyes.

It's amazing how emotional pre-teens are. Goodness. Everything is a crises and and NEVER is used way too much in their vocabulary! lol. "but I NEVER get to do this...." when they just did it the other day. lol
Harry and Severus in the same year will be great I'm sure, but he is so much younger than Ron and Hermione now.

Oh dear me. 12 and 13 again? The first time around was hard enough. Glad they have Poppy and Alastor to care for them. They seem like stern yet loving parents.
