This was a wonderful one-shot. You are very gifted at painting emotions--that first section was quite painful-actually. I must admit I half expected Sev to blast Dumbledor and Minerva for their little "drop in an check on Harry after so many years." Would have served them right as well.
Thanks for sharing. V.

I really loved this story. Severus is just so believable, in-character, but yet so much mature then he ever managed in canon. I loved how he obviously loved Harry and cared well for him.
I'm so glad that Harry ended up having a loving and happy home. And I have a feeling that he gave Severus a reason to live, too.
Great job!
I really liked this oneshot. I liked how Severus took care of Harry even though Severus didn't have a lot of money to spend.
Lovely story! The only thing that saddens me is that Dumbledore and Minerva trusted Severus so little. I'm quite happy that their fears were proven so very foolish.
*sniff* Loved it, hope for more in the future.

This story was AWESOME!!!! I really enjoyed it.
I like!! I especially like the very beginning. The scene that worried DD so was perfect - you could see why DD was worried, but also that things could potentially turn out well. Well done!
