I hate that you didn't include any outsie dialogue from Dumbledore. It's difficult to maintain a feel of familiarity with the other characters and thus your personal HP setting/tone if I don't hear what's going on outside a single characters head...or even what that character is reacting to.
Author's Response: Unfortunately, I was only allowed for this part to use Snape's inner monologue and thoughts. That's why I had the second story that isn't necessarily to the challenge. Thanks for the review.
This is a wonderful concept - but execution is clunky and hard to read. Some of the internal dialogue is revealing, but other sections are very cliche and unrealistic. I'm unsure if I just haven't grasped where your're going with the character (Snape) or if it's not done quite so wonderfully, but I love where this is going and I have high hopes (or hope I have high hopes) for what's to come!
