I enjoyed the description of Elb. It sounded beautiful but I wondered how anyone would live there full time so I was glad when Severus told Harry that it was like a Muggle shopping center. The shops sounded like they would be fun to visit. It must have been a wonderful day for Harry.
The letters did a good job of putting Harry straight about what his friends think of him. Severus should be able to finish that job. I liked that you included the letters.
I wondered how Harry would encounter the troll. Hopefully, he will open up for Severus.
I enjoyed that Poppy and Charity joined Severus in taking care of Petunia. I liked the idea of an epiphany spell for Dudley. That must have been an eye-opener for him. I also like the snake familiar for Poppy. It makes sense. So Hermione is in Slytherin now. That should be interesting.
I wonder if Harry will find out what happened to his aunt? She's lucky Severus managed to limit his curses after that last remark. I'm looking forward to finding out what happens to Hermione, too.
It sounds like Poppy and Severus have a regular routine mapped out for dealing with abused students. Too bad that they have to, but at least someone is caring for and about those children.
Bringing Charity along to question Petunia sounds like a good idea. She doesn't have any past with Petunia and will have an open mind which may convince Albus about Harry's abuse. Also, she should keep Severus from hexing Petunia into the next century.
As a former abused child, Severus would take the Slytherin Head of House and its responsibilities very seriously. I liked the background on Slytherin and his house.
Having a more sympathetic Vernon was an interesting touch. I wonder if he had any idea of the wizarding world or if Petunia kept it from him?
I enjoyed the letters between Draco and Lucius. They seem to have a good relationship from the tone of the letters. I especially enjoyed the comment about the fountain pen.
