This is really interesting! I love the way you've kept the tone of it all reflecting Severus's mental state, which really adds to the impact of it ... and I love the way you slowly and subtly include little bits of information that tell us about the situation and how it all came about ... very nice!
This was such a sad story, so poignant, and so very well written. I adore that it was all Dumbledore's fault, and that it was because he was trying to do what was best for the person, again! Thank you for a great read!
Poor Severus. That's all I can say. Poor Severus, but at least he has Harry to look out for him now. Wonderful story.
wow!... just wow! i really like this story. Poor Severus. i really think that you should make this into a longer story or even a series of oneshots of the two of them in the Muggle world.

Awesome. Just how cd u think this up from the challenge's original idea. I guess this is a response which uses a challenge and yet is away from what the challenger meant when she wrote it down first.
It was simply too good.

Thank you as ever for a great story that makes you think as well as enjoy. Again you get to the heart of the matter that Dumbledore plays with lives "for the greater good" when he should have left alone!
Psychologically briliant!
This is just so perfect; I cant imagine how much energy it must take to write something like this - it reads like we get to be spectators in Sev's head when it's at its most turbulent. And you wrote it perfectly.
I'm taking it that Dumbledore did something that caused Severus to become this way....perhaps he only wanted to help, but it's clear that he only made things worse. Now, he is pretending that all must be well and trying to force Severus to fall into line and pretend as well. Unfortunately for Dumbledore, Severus is neither willing nor able to comply. I'm really glad that Severus has Harry to protect him from well-meaning idiots and get him the help he actually needs.
