There is something so beautifully poetic about this.
Lovely start to the series, and especially liked seeing things from a House Elf perspective.

Oooh, how sad... But it's a wonderful beginning to your series. I can't wait to see where the rest of the story will go! I really enjoyed the sense of place which you've created for Hester's abode, as well as her affection and fears for the sad boy. Lovely job!
Author's Response: Thanks :) I'm glad you liked Hester; I had a really clear image of her and her little world and I'm happy she's gone across well ^^

Lovely, I really enjoyed this. For a short story you really touched on such great emotion and all through the eyes of little Elf. I was also interested in your use of their code names of Sekhmet and Anubis - very clever. Thank you for your story- onto read Christmas Present.
Author's Response: Thanks ^^ My best friend and I use Sekhmet and Anubis for our code-names and, as I was writing this story, it struck me how perfect they were for Lily and Severus; she the beautiful, brave and fiery lioness who became a symbol for the last war, he the dark, quiet and serious jackal who walked through the valley of death to protect the living.
Lovely. I can't believe how much story you packed into so few words.
Author's Response: Thanks ^^ Little Hester is a really useful narrator lol; being at the hub of Hogwarts' house-elf life and a motherly figure to boot, she helped me zip through the introductory story ^^
This was an awesome start. I really loved the despair you portrayed through the house elf's eyes. Great job
Author's Response: Thanks ^^ I really enjoyed writing this and I'm glad you liked it too.
