I don't think I've read any Hufflepuff stories like this, and I really like it!
I love how touchy-feely and protective they are of one another!
And I also love Snape of course.
I can't wait to read more! This is really interesting with the vampire culture and all! :)
After coming home from an awful day at work with the start of a migraine, I wanted "comfort" stuff. Comfort drink, sweet iced tea, comfort food, grilled cheese sandwich, and a comfort read, your wonderful story. After my meds took effect I reread your story and remembered how much I love it and have missed it. Thank you for a wonderful read, made this day much better. Not that I'm pushing here, but please, please, please, update soon, what to know "the rest of the story." Have a great day.

I didn't know what to think when I first read the summary; Harry as a half-vampire? Would this story be any good? I clicked on it anyway and was really happy to find that it's a great story. First, the good spelling, grammar, and punctuation. That sounds odd to notice, but I've found too many potentially good stories that I've skipped because of the distractingly bad structure. Must be the English major in me. Second, I am starting to love the Hufflepuff!Harry meme. Third, your OCs are interesting. I wondered about the bold way Rene spoke with Snape, but then I decided it was plausible because in canon we do see everything through the Harry-filter and it's entirely possible that Snape interacts with adult and near-adult students differently, particularly those whom he does not have a history regarding them as troublemakers. Fourth, I like the letter and book excerpts, particularly Harry's, which imply that he's writing his memoirs. Have you decided how old he is "now" or when he wrote the book? I am very eaager to find out what happens next. Please write more soon. Oh yes, one last thing: the etymology geek in me was pleased to see you use the word "sett". Badgerbadgerbadgerbadgerbadgerbadgerbadger... :-)
