Another totally beautiful chapter. I loved Severus’s magical story, and his embrace of Draco has not his family. The camping hideaway was so nice, and Severus’s understanding of Harley’s aversion to land was so palpable at the end.
What a totally beautiful impromptu wedding. And the funniest, sweetest game of Quidditch I’ve ever read about. It was an absolutely delightful chapter.
Oh the things I loved - Snape’s marvelous fiction stories, Snape appearing on a chocolate frog card, Snape in a black, Edwardian era swimsuit, his family curled up together asleep.
I love the “ hug and kiss” quote! I love the rapport between Harry and Draco. There were so many touching moments here, with some darker strands as well.
Yay, I can’t stop cheering! What a wonderful moment that while expected happened in an unexpected way. The line about Hector hoping a Draco was something edible was hilarious, by the way!
I’m so relieved that disturbing chapter in Echo’s life is over, and I hope it ceases to torment her soon. I love Draco’s visit and his whole demeanor.
I love the olive branch Snape extended. What a thoughtful detail. I was amused by Vernon’s “dialogue” with Hedwig!
A Dobby- little Harry play date, sweetness overload!
I appreciate that Dudley recognizes how badly he behaved in their former life on Privet Drive. I don’t mind the fluctuation in how old Harry seems, but I still appreciated your explanation.
What a wonderfully packed chapter. I loved Severus and Echo’s romantic date - hopefully the first of many. The tango was breathtaking in its description. The image of Harry running after his dog who’s running after a cat was completely hilarious. I’m so glad Dobby has little Harry’s back. So much to love in this chapter.
