I think so far, my favorite part of this story is that my own pet cat is named Seven, and I normally shorten it to "Sev" when she's being cute. :D

I always find it amusing that neglect is always classified as less damaging than physical abuse. Well... not amusing but peculiar. *shakes her head*
Well I really hope you continue this story. I really like Cat-Sev (I totally did not see it coming that the same nickname could come from the word Seven. Good job!)and hope that Harry eventually realizes he is being protected by Severus.
