You know, why is it you never see wizards brushing their teeth? Particularly ones who grew up with Muggles. Even if their magic prevented rotting teeth etc., one would think a Muggleborn/raised would know how painful a cavity is just from being around those that had them. Hermoine especially, since her parents are dentists. Kudos on the awesome chapter, don't know where that rant earlier in the review came from.

Amazing! I read this story when I am feeling lonely and need to read about relationships like Harry has with Sev and his friends and the last two chapters were particularly satisfying from that perspective. Hope to see the next chapter sometime soon!

I feel much like Harry did when the Friday went by and no letter. Though not exactly, cause I know I will get my fix eventually. Is it just me, or are you updating two chapters at a time? Kudos.

I so enjoy the mentoring, and caring, that Snape is giving Harry. Every time you mention the clock it gives me a warm glow!! I am glad, too, that you are finally giving Severus a worthy chess challenger - Harry has many sterling qualities, but chess is not where he shines. I always thought that JKR dropped the ball a bit with the chess substory - it was a useful device for the first book, but I imagined many ways she could have utilized Ron's skill with chess and the calculations needed to be a good player as she continued the series.
I so enjoy the relationship you are building between Harry and Severus in this story. I also am impressed on how you can keep so much of the action and structure of HBP while making such a fundamental change to one of the central relationships in it!
