Oh my. Beautifully painful.
This is one of the most accurate reactions to all the crap Harry faced. It may be a story to us, but it was hardly realistic, more fairytale than anything. He had PTSD about Cedric's death for all of a book and had more girl trouble than that. It was kinda dumb from an older person's point of view, but good for kids.
This was so good and definitely needed.
That seems like a more likely reaction from Harry after the death of Quirrell than canon. Harry caused the end of Voldemort and now Quirrell so he would have to, at least, wonder about it. Especially the grim way in which Quirrell disintegrated. That would have given me nightmares. I like the way you portrayed Snape. He was snarkily honest which got through to Harry.
Very moving, intense. Good stuff
Nice. I too think that Canon Quirrell. And Dumble was always calous with Harry :(
Little hands . . . *sniffles loudly*
Oooh, I haven't read this one before. I like it - not as re-readable as some of the others, it calls up less raw emotion (for me anyway) but I do like it. It doesn't hurt that I've always liked that plot point - namely, why the -hell- didn't anyone talk to this eleven year old who'd just killed a man? Poor little abused-and/or-neglected kiddo.
Excellent Job! Very enjoyable. Yes, harry, pray it does not get easier, otherwise the world is in trouble! I love Severus, he's so wise and intuitive despite his age and the bitterness that smothers his true self... ;) Thanks! misundersnape...

Awesome story. Short and sweet, but wonderful.
