I suppose the muggle method of ascertaining paternity wouldn't work with wizards? Or have they just not thought of that yet? I love how you portrayed Severus' reaction to their kinship. Very telling for the normally reserved wizard.

I reviewed over at ffnet, but the chappie was so good that I thought that it merited another review over here! :)
You just had to torture us by making the test inconclusive, didn't you!!! :O I hope that Harry gets his most secret desire, and Snape too.
This is great! I'm hoping for more soon.
While I can understand being bad at estimating how long something will take to complete (I find I have the same problem), I now feel like I'm waiting on pins and needles to read the ending, something quite rare for me. Congrats to you for making me this way. I love this so far. It's just the right length and has just enough description to make a good short story, without feeling like it's dragging on or leaving something out; and I especially loved this chapter for Snape's reaction. I truly think you wrote it brilliantly, couldn't possibly be any better.
Hope you post the next chapter soon. I have an idea how it might end, but then there are actually quite a few possibilities. I can't wait to find out.
I hope this goes on for many chapters! Long, long chapters! Love It!

Ugh I must wait for one more chapter to find out...how cruel.....but what a great chapter. Loved the part of Severus searching Harry's face for signs of him. Wouldn't it be funny if Severus found out that he was actually his hated enemy's secret brother...Looking forward to reading your next chapter.

Fascinating idea - that the potion can tell if they are related, but not if Snape is the father. I like having that element of partly knowing, but not knowing about paternity, so that they both have to consider "what ifs".
