Ok, wow. That is my initial impression. I generally only read spanking fics (the caring and correcting kind), this one obviously came up because of the canning but I am so glad that I read it.
I love mentor fics between these two and this one was so well and believably written. I also enjoy Snape's attitude not being completely OOC but also compassionate.
I think I speak for Snape fans everywhere when I say we like to see more of this side of him and Harry actually realizing his importance in his life.
Keep writing.

Lovely story. Thank goodness for fanfiction so that we can read what might have happened, and what SHOULD have happened.
What a well-written, thoughtful alternate ending to DH2 - I loved it! I think I'll ignore canon from now on and pretend that this is what actually happened. There were so many great parts that I can't name all of them, but one thing I particularly liked was how Snape asked Sev all of the questions he once asked Harry.
Thank you so much for writing this - 10 out of 10!

I love stories that bring Snape back from the fate he suffered in canon! This is a fabulous version of that theme! I haven't read a lot of Post-Hogwarts stories, but you really did an excellent job of carrying the characters into the distant future. And I loved the fact that Snape looked younger and better than ever! :-)

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who was so distraught over watching Severus die. I mean we all read the book but watching it was so much worse. I wish I had your talent to be able to put it into words what I felt after seeing the movie. This was a great story. I really think you should continue this story and go into depth with Sev, Severus the apprenticeship and the rest of the Potter family. Keep up the awesome work. Looking forward to your next story. This was just beautiful! And from this point on, as far as I'm concerned, this is how it REALLY happened! Well done!
I don't like the part about Percy, especially that Lydia something... the rest of the story is a-w-e-s-o-m-e!
