I don't think Lily is OOC.
She's the wife of a Marauder, a mother, and most importantly... a RED HEAD!
If that doesn't equal a fiery temper, I don't know what will!
And also best friends with Snape.
Severus definitely has a lot to think of. He clearly wasn't liking what he was reading between the lines. Petunia had best watch out, because it's not just Lily who is going to be after her!
Referring to the CEN: Hmm...you know the saying about a mothers? Well, in my mind Lily is a mother bear, willing not only to die for but to kill to protect her cub. That being said I will hardly be surprised if she's more than a bit darker than normal; in fact, I look forward to the blood bath! :D
So is Snape going to see the Dursleys at some point. Somehow I can see Lily wanting revenge by proxy. I know I would if I was Harry's mum. Great chapter! I especially liked the points where Severus is silently commenting that he can learn.

This is a very interesting story. I can't wait to see what happens next, actually. Will Sev and Lily put any of *their* issues to rest, as well as helping Harry? Just curious... Update soon.

I'm really enjoying your story! It's very well-written and I love how Lily is doing her best to help Harry and to let Severus know he's in the wrong. Hopefully Severus will soon see that for himself.
