Wonderful story lump in my throat at the ending thank you
This put tears in my eyes. Very, very touching and moving. I definitely want more. Beautiful work. One phrase that I found particularly touching was: "...Harry couldn’t help but squeeze harder as though all the emotion was rushing out through his fingertips."
That was an excellent story. I really liked how you dealt with Snape's realization about the truth of Harry's life, and I like how Harry recognized when he was trapped that he needed Snape's strength.
BTW, I have a friend who is a surgeon and she told me that a good surgeon who has experience in doing amputations can do an above the knee removal in less than ten minutes. It doesn't sound like much but if it were done without anesthesia, like you wrote happening to Harry here, I'm betting it would seem a hundred times as long!
I look forward to your sequel; to see Harry's coming to terms with his losses, and with the change in his relationship with Snape.
