Interesting. I like where the differences are beginning to show. Still wanted to slap Ron up the side of the head though. Good chapter!

Well, this was an interesting first 9 chapters. Keep up the good work!
A lovely update. I am truly enjoying this story and can't wait to see where it goes.
Kitty got some milk, right? *grins* I can picture her grin. So how will Severus take Harry almost getting bucked from the broom and the supposed duel between Harry and Draco? Will Harry go after the stone? Will Dumbledore still give him the cloak or will he stay away like he is supposed to?
Author's Response: Snape's not going to find out about the duel. As for the rest ... all I'm going to say is that you're going to have to wait and see, and that the further we get from the starting point, the more things change, and we're already getting into changes. Certain canon events will still happen, but NOT, for the most part, at their appointed time. Beyond that ... *snicker* ... Harry's going to be a rather different young man in very short order.
I love Minerva! She is thinking like a Slytherin. I think she secretly took that as a compliment.
