I'm glad that Snape's heart isn't dead and he loves Harry. This short story hits the nail in the head. I think what Snape feels about Harry when he does something dangerous and concerns about his happiness is what a true father feels.
Smart man. Good one-shot.
Looking forward to reading more. This is a quite good, a little bit summarised but for the first FF very acceptable :)

I like it very much, and I could definitely see it fleshed out into a longer story! My favorite part was when Severus realized that there is not one definition of love, but that it is something everyone needs to find out for themselves.
