    For some reason, despite loving Digging Through the Bones more than is healthy, I've never thought to look at your other stories. This is amazing. I love older Harry. Probably my favorite was the little bit of Dudley in the previous story, how he would see his life after realizing Harry was abused is a fascinating thought.

    It is hard for me to grasp Tim's disconnect--one sentence he says that may have been the first time Severus helped him, the next that the baby isn't him.

    The line about everyone pretending to care is disheartening, as I assume it not only includes Severus (which I can get--he isn't the same person as his "guardian angel") but his family too.

    Yes, it is a disconnect.

     In the symbolism of the dream, the baby carries many of Tim's traumatic memories..

    It is common for abuse survivors to be unable to connect with parts of themselves. Identity is very fluid--it only seems stable because of our tricks of memory.

    Sadly the belief that people are only pretending to care is also common among abuse survivors.

    Oh my goodness, that was a disturbing chapter...However, I enjoyed Severus' and Harry's reactions. Please update soon! :)

    Poor Tim. It's good that he at least had Severus there to help him. Severus seems to have learned quite a bit about surviving in Tim's mind. This is such a differnt story. I'm really looking forward to finding out where we are heading.

    Severus' conversation with Phoebe was interesting. I'm glad that someone besides Tim is aware of Severus' presence. Though it seems like Tim trusts Snape and isn't worried about any harm from him. It will be interesting to see what Pheobe does next.

    I guess Severus hasn't considered the possibility of reincarnation. Is Poppy still around for Phoebe to ask her about what potion she gave Severus?
