This is amazing. I love the whole set up to this story, as well as the small touches. Hot meals, familiar beds, and hot showers carry such weight now, knowing how long they weren’t a reality for Snape and Harry. It’s beautiful that you’ve highlighted these small, but important, aspects. Your writing is brilliant.
The dialogue is excellent - sarcastic, witty, and fresh yet familiar. This chapter was as gripping as the last.
Wow, amazing start to your story! I’ve read this story several times, but am still struck by how compelling it is from the onset. Simply marvelous.
So good to read this again.
