I'm glad to see that, in spite of adopting two 11-year-old boys, Severus as retained his snark. Of course with everything on his shoulders now, it probably did him some good to be able to take out his frustrations on a couple of students.
I'm glad Minerva was let into the secret about Harry/Evan. She should be a good ally.
That must have been a long and terrifying day for Harry. At least he has already made friends with Ron and Draco and Severus will be taking care of him. I hope Harry manages to sleep through the night. They don't want him to wake up alone in a strange place.
So Snape will end up with two little boys. That should be a shock to the staff and students.
"Severus tried to push his conscience back into the box where it usually lived." What a wonderful sentence. Harry has destroyed any preconceived notions Severus may have held about him. I like your Harry. Even with his injuries, he sounds like a force to be reckoned with. He is already changing Draco.
Harry really has a lot of physical damage. I wonder if Madam Pomfrey will be able to help with some of it when Harry gets to Hogwarts?
Poor Harry. Petunia is lucky that Severus didn't hex her and her family into oblivion.
At first I wasn't sure about this story. After the second chapter, I was completely hooked! I would love to know what happens next. Awesome writing!
