Best chapter yet! Please update again soon!!

    Author's Response:

Oh wow, thank you! I'm glad you think it was the best chapter, I actually had a bit of trouble writing it. And then my computer deleted the file, but luckily I had a backup on my phone! I'm working on the next chapter hopefully it will be up soon!

    :)

Adorable! Baby Harry is too cute, and I love the way you've written all of the characters!

    Author's Response:

Thank you! You're so nice:) and who doesn't love little Harry?

The picture of a little black haired imp trying to work out who, or what, was blocking the hallway was hilarious. I think you wrote Severus in a believable way - protecting Harry would certainly be his prime focus going forward, while having the whole group laughing together at the child's innocent delight was a nice touch.

    Author's Response:

Aw thank you! I thought that after losing Lily, Severus would be extremely upset but he is smart enough to realise that Harry is still there for him and they can move on together. Obviously it would take time but they have each other, not to mention James, Sirius and Remus.

    Thanks again:)

And LAUGH I did! Little Harry is certainly believable-- they'll stick their fingers ANYWHERE... As for Severus' emotions: grief can vary from one individual to another, but I believe that you've realistically described one aspect of grief, and it "feels" right for both Severus and his situation. Well done! :-)

    Author's Response:

6 years ago, when my little sister was three, she was enjoying a wonderful nap at daycare. A little boy walked up to her and stuck his finger up her nose and she woke up very surprised :P

That was my inspiration for that particular part of the chapter!

    Thanks heaps shadow:)

Oh, you really did kill Lily off! Poor Harry and Severus. Typical that there's no government funding for something as important as finding a cure for the mysterious disease. It will be interesting to see where the healer fits in to your story ongoing.

    Author's Response:

Yes, I had to kill Lily. I feel so mean! Sometimes I think that the government overlooks the most important of things. It really isn't fair :(

Healer Moore will make an appearance in the next few chapters.

Thanks for reading and reviewing, I really appreciate it:)

Very cool. I'm guessing Sev will take up the knitting now?

    Author's Response:

Thanks! Will Sev take up knitting now? You'll just have to wait and see...

    :)

I do like Healer Moore, and I especially like the way he took the Muggle train. Also, excellent connection between his seeing the woman on the train knitting and his remembering Harry asking about Lily knitting his jumper.

How very, very sad for Severus and Harry, though. At first, I thought it must be an aneurism, but for this to be a Magical disease -- that's fascinating. (TRAGIC, but still fascinating.) And I'm intrigued about the disease's origin; could this possibly be something to do with Voldemort????? (Just HAD to ask!)

Excellent second chapter, Con! Already looking forward to the third! :-)

    Author's Response:

Haha, thanks shadow! Your comments mean a lot to me:)

I'm not giving away anything (insert evil laugh here), but I like the idea of the disease haing something to do with Voldemort... Hehehe, I guess you'll just have to wait and see:)

    Thanks for reading!

Author's Response: Oh thanks! I'm writing the third chapter right now... :)

Poor Harry and Severus! They're going to be in for a rough time ahead.

I really like the Healer so far. I definitely hope there's more of him coming up, along with Severus and Harry interaction. I imagine Harry will cling harder to his father than ever before, especially after losing this Mum like that.

Please update again soon, I really look forward to reading more.

Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you like Healer Moore. I wanted to make a very human character. And I feel awful for giving Harry and Sev a hard time but there's this really annoying idea for a plot that I have and it's telling me to pile on the angst!
