This was great, though totally heartbreaking that Snape would be so callous.

I am so grateful that my own step-parents were like real parents to me. I know that what Harry experienced in this story does happen, more often than not. It's too bad that Severus, even after he saw the fruit of his neglect, couldn't get over himself enough to show love to a child.

Poor Harry - what a way to have to live. And how sad that nothing seems to have changed on his return to his 'family', despite Snape's realisation about himself, and Sirius' appearance.

Oh my gosh, so sad. Excited to read the sequel.
I was sad...all the way through..it did end really quickly though.
Heres to hoping it gets better :(
Oh, poor Harry. I am sorry that Snape wasn't able to be a good father to him. Interesting story. It seemed to end rather abruptly. I wished I'd been able to see Snape's reaction to all of Harry's injuries... and how Lily talks to him after all the injuries are noted.
