Sounds like Snape had another rotten day. I am wondering if he has something worse than a cold since the remedies he has taken don't seem to have helped. Harry may end up taking him home and caring for him until he is better.
Poor Severus. He has had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Albus denied him the DADA post again, he had to rescue Potter and take him home after arguing with Vernon and Petunia and to top it off he picked up a rotten cold. And didn't even have the pleasure of seeing Petunia blown up. Can't wait to see what happens to him next!
Love the chapter. I see Harry worked it out too.
Truly enjoyed reading it!
This is a brilliant chapter. Why is Snape interested in great circles? Am I right in guessing his boggart is Lily dead? Will Harry discover this fact? Why won't Snape tell him about Lily, but send him to McGonagall instead?
Love your twist on Canon.
I can't wait to see what happens next. Oh, and love the ending line. Is there really a Sirius Star? I don't know anything about Astronomy--excuse my ignorance.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: There is! It's the brightest star in the sky and it is part of Canis Major, which is visible in the UK in the winter. There's also a Draco constellation, and it looks like a dragon. Supposedly - I never see the shapes myself. Just a bunch of stars together.
Great chapter. I like it that you only mention and skip Canon happenings. Some authors rewrite whole scenes; and we all know them already, so it only slow the fanfic down. I like your Snape. He's very human.

Just started reading this story today and I am very impressed!!! It's very well written. Consistent with canon, yet different enough to be very interesting. Like your characterizations of both Snape and Harry.
Very well done!!!

Excellent story. Nice characterizations of Harry and Snape. Realistic Dumbledore. Has the feel of a mystery unfolding for Harry, which is a nice departure.
