    I dearly hope that this author will continue writing. I really love the depth of Severus's character development. The weaving of present and past is enchanting-- balanced well enough that the fragments of the past are facinating, perhaps it's because they are succinct but dramatically powerful.

    A very necessary chapter! I have never liked Albus because of his blind eye to Harry's unhappiness at home thank you

    I love love love your story so much that this is the first time I've written a review on P&S (mostly because it requires two hands and I'm usually nursing at the keyboard).

    You've done a great job at painting canon Snape in a rapidly changing situation, struggling to control his reactions to his strong emotions so as to not to become the type of harsh man his father was. I love how in your fic he's not all warm and fluffy (thus far at least, though I'm not one to object to fluff when it's offered), but rather an honourable man who feels deeply but struggles with anger, prejudice and knee-jerk reactions (strange in a spy, don't you think?).

    Please don't stop writing. As long as you've got more story in you, I at least will be very grateful to read it. If it gets finished, I think it'll be one of my short list of favourites that I read over and over.

    Its inclusion makes sense as JK even hinted and admitted to other childrens abuse that Albus ignored.

    I liked Snape forcing Dumbles to own up to his own mistakes

    Woah, YES we're interested!! I was very excited to see this at the top of the recents chart! Sure, it's been so long I had to reread the whole thing, but that's not a bad thing at all!

    Author's Response: I apologize, because I've taken forever to get this final chapter ready...I've been second guessing it, because I wasn't sure if I should insert another chapter or not. In the end, I decided to go with my original intent. Thank you very much for your encouragement, and please forgive me for taking forever to reply to you.
