I am so grateful for the chapters you’ve posted, even as I hold hope that there will be more to read of this wonderful sequel at some point! It feels like Harry’s life with his father and brother is just starting.
The story seems to be setting Harry up to interact with the elves in the forest around the Manor, and to eventually learn elven magic — which would be amazing! I hope that Severus finishes reading Harry’s journal soon, that they have a series of discussions about the contents of the journal, and that it brings the two closer together.

You’ve portrayed Harry’s awkwardness so nicely at feeling like “just Harry” in his ancestral home. I hope he feels less lonely and develops more confidence and sense of belonging as the summer progresses.
I hope that Harry finds a true home at Prince Manor. It sounds like a peaceful and lovely place. I imagine that Harry’s resentment at having lived in a cupboard, rather than in the Manor, may emerge at some point (even as he held it in upon seeing Prince Manor). I love the idea of the summer lessons.
Why do I get the feeling that Severus knows of Harry's elven ancestry??? Well, anyways, the storyline from My Secret Father to this chapter has been amazing. Hoping to read more updates!!!
