MORE!!! Wonderful. Severus, be brave, come forth for Harry.
This is a really lovely story. I love the little overheard conversations and the hints and the love that so obviously exists in the family. My only complaint is that the formatting is a little wonky, and that made me confused when the story started jumping back and forth in time. FORMATTING, I know. But seriously, thanks for sharing this.
I loved this story. I shall favorite it. Now that Alan Rickman himself has died, it feels even more poignant. Nicely done. This one gets a "10".
Woah! Awesome way to end it. :) I love it! More, please!
Ordinarily, a story with no tangible Snape would turn me off, and a story written in tidbits of non-sequential scenes would drive me nuts, but this story really works! I can't explain it, but all through the story, I felt as though I kept peering quickly here and there, hoping to catch a glimpse of a man in black before he disappeared from sight. I enjoyed all the little details, like the snake named Mongoose, and the inscription in the Sherlock Holmes book, etc. You have a lot of potential material for further stories, if you decided to exploit this particular universe, but the site's requirements for Snape/Harry interaction would probably mean you'd have to beef up that aspect if you wrote more. Again, maybe it's just that you left me wanting one more glimpse from the corner of my eye... Nice work! Thanks! :-)
Touching, beautifully-written. Ginny's and Harry's feelings towards Severus are very in-character. Albus' curiousity and his way of thinking is very believable. It makes everyone mourn Severus Snape's death once again.

A very cute story. I liked the thought that maybe Severus was out there watching.
