Wow! This story contains so many unique twists and turns, it ends up in a totally unexpected place from its beginning. I really liked seeing the developing relationship between Harry and Snape, and the leadership/advisor role that Snape has assumed by the end. Even though Harry is 18, he still needs guidance and a sounding board for his thoughts and plans, and your Snape provides this beautifully. If you're ever stuck for story ideas, you might consider showing us Harry working his way through Lily's letters, with Snape offering commentary and advice at each stage. Nicely done! Merry Christmas!

I'm glad the two have made peace. Harry needs someone to act as mentor, especially if the relationship with Ginny falls through.

It seems like that is the first real discussion Harry and Snape have had since the end of Voldemort. It's nice to see them connecting.

Aww. Harry learned some new words. I wonder if Snape will want some payback from the Dursleys? And what will happen next year when Minerva asks Severus to do the Enchantment again?

I am enjoying the little details of the characters life after Voldemort. Such as Harry and Ginny are still together as are Ron and Hermione. The little comment about Snape's trial after the fall of Voldemort was an interesting detail, too.

It's kind of sad that Snape expects nothing at Christmas. Though if he enjoyed the holiday, he might not be able to do the spell.
